Do Ministry in NYC
Many opportunities to get involved and impact our community.
The Greater New York Conference takes great pride in honoring the invaluable contributions of our esteemed teachers. This past Sabbath, at the North Bronx SDA Church, in collaboration with the Atlantic Union Conference Education Department, the Greater New York Conference Administration, our stellar guest speaker Dr. Andrea Luxton, Associate Director of Higher Education for the North American Division , Dr. Alanzo Smith, Dr. Ariel Manzueta, Dr. Robert Charles, VP of Finance & Stewardship GNYC, Dr. Lileth Coke Associate Director, Certification Registrar AUC Office of Education, and our dedicated Superintendent of Schools, Mrs. Maria Thomas, we had the privilege of organizing a commissioning ceremony for a group of our exceptionally talented educators. We express our heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering commitment and dedication to the noble cause of Adventist Education. Additionally, we took the opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding academic and professional achievements of several principals and teachers, as well as a recognizing years of service of some of our Principals whose lifelong contributions has made a difference in the lives of many of our students. The future of Christian Education fills us with great enthusiasm and optimism.

Awesome
πAt the menβs convention, Dr. Abraham J. Jules spoke with heartfelt conviction, urging every man to love his wife as Christ loves the Churchβwith patience, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment. His message served as both a challenge and a call to restoration in marriages, encouraging men to lead their homes with grace and humility. Throughout the day, engaging seminars covered topics such as emotional intelligence, spiritual leadership, and practical fatherhood. The evening concluded with a dynamic concert that lifted spirits and united hearts in praise, sealing the experience with joy and inspiration.π

Awesome π
β΄οΈ First day of English Ministries Weekend Convention, a powerful and Spirit-filled sermon was delivered by Pr. Debleaire Snell that left a lasting impression on everyone present. Centering his message on the story of Jesus and the Gadarene demoniac, Pastor Snell reminded us of the unmatched authority and compassion of Christ. He emphasized how Jesus crossed a stormy sea just to reach one tormented soulβshowing that no one is too far gone, no one is forgotten. The transformation of the demoniac, from chaos to calm, from bondage to freedom, revealed the heart of the gospel: Jesus comes to restore, to reclaim, and to redeem. The sermon stirred many hearts, calling us to remember that the same power that set the man free is still at work today.
