Superlatives like “awesome,” “top-notch,” or even “superb” fall short of describing the truly world-class performance of the Sola Gratia Chorale, who appeared at the North Bronx Seventh-day Adventist church in a benefit concert on Sunday evening, June 29. The award-winning singers – all young men and women from the Philippines – enchanted the audience with intricate interpretations of tunes that ranged from anthems of faith to contemporary Christian favorites to folk classics from around the world. Equally moving was the lyrical content of the pieces, which promoted justice and inspired listeners with hope and determination to craft a brighter future for themselves and the world. Proceeds from the concert went towards the Camp Berkshire development fund. We were also extremely blessed to have with us the one and only Odane Rhoden, whose unique and dynamic musical gifts lifted the evening to another level. From our Greater New York Conference family, thank you to all our partners, organizers, and supporters for making this afternoon a tremendous success.

What an unforgettable experience at the Greater New York Conference English Camp Meeting! Hearts were touched and lives transformed during a deeply spiritual gathering filled with uplifting worship and a transformational message by Dr Hyveth Williams, which some have described as perfect timing. But what truly made this camp meeting unique was the sense of fellowship—new friendships blossomed, and old ones grew even stronger as we bonded together in faith and unity. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a special, Spirit-filled community. While we celebrate the joy of our English Camp meeting, the season is far from over.
